This is our new cat Marvin who waltzed into our lives and decided to adopt us. He's kinda funny lookin' like this picture, lanky with a Basil Brush tail but we like his quirks. Boom, boom.
This has been on the net for a while but it's pretty neat (although it is making my page look ugly). Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti clockwise? If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Some people can see it turning both ways. I am an absolute right brainer. Check out the right vs left brain quiz for artists.
This was going to be used for an Angostura ad, but the nipple proved too much. The image was approved through the entire creative process without any hiccups and then deemed too racy after I completed the illustration. Good one. Censorship blows. Anywho, this means you can now buy it in it's original glory. See below.
I have four prints for sale including 'Josephine' and 'Peacock Envy' at Click for Art. They can be printed onto canvas or framed at various sizes and they deliver just about anywhere! The colours for Peacock Envy are much closer to this posted here.
Check out my illustrations for Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips range (they plump the lips, hence the name). There are 13 different colours, with a sexy burlesque show girl on each one...gggrrr. Plus there are 4 summer tints- Buxom Babes in bikinis and more to come.
Here are some of my kokeshi and wooden dolls. Most are Japanese, but I got the little pink one in Vietnam sitting amongst a pile of weird stuff for sale. My sister bought the kooky caterpillar bobble head in Hawaii.
I found these cute little wooden ball players at Chelsea market, New York. I was told they were German made, probably in the 50's. If anyone has any insight, drop me a line.
This is a fairly recent painting which now resides at Rick and Vic's house. It's based around an old butcher shop in St Kilda called Gruner. You know the ones that have cute little pics of animals before they get slaughtered. I love these old stores with original signage but they are becoming obsolete due to all the new development.....don't get me started. I called her 'Meaty'.
